Situation

After being acquired by a larger business and hastily rebranded, UpSol needed to re-discover its true identity. Specialising in process automation for NZ businesses, UpSol was looking for a unified direction that would resonate with the entire team, empower their sales and marketing efforts and help establish a robust brand identity across NZ.

Challenge

Aside from infusing meaning in the term ’digital transformation’ (a notoriously broad and unwieldy phrase), UpSol needed to demonstrate its connection with New Zealand businesses. This challenge was made harder with a diverse client base requiring different messaging as well as cultural sensitivities in reaching out to Maori and IWI organisations.

We scheduled a series of branding workshops to explore UpSol’s business ideals, identify target demographics, review their product and service portfolio and dive into their existing client communication strategies. Combined with extensive market research, these workshops laid the groundwork for a revamped communication strategy and brand identity.
